Welcome
The Greenland Volunteer
Fire Department provides fire suppression, rescue and hazardous material
services to Greenland, New Hampshire. Greenland is a rural, seacoast community with approximately 3,500 residents.
The volunteer fire department is comprised of Firefighters, EMTs, First Responders, Dispatchers and Support personnel. All
volunteers undergo formal training before
responding to an emergency call.
We're always looking for new members to
join our
department.

BURN PERMIT NOTICE:
Residents must contact a Deputy Fire Warden or
Fire Warden to request a burn permit
at least 24-hours prior to
their burn.
Burn permits requested with less than 24-hours notice
may not be issued.
Have you replaced your
smoke detector battery lately?
Help us find you
in an emergency - make sure your house number is visible from the
street.
We asked and you supplied! Thank
you for your support! Thank you to all of the bakers, buyers and staffers who
made the March fundraiser a huge success! We had such a great
response, we'll be asking for your help on future bake sales.
Congratulations
to Susan Dame and Myrick Bunker - GVFD's newest EMTs
