We still need you!
GVFD is Accepting Volunteers from Abutting Towns

Many residents are not aware that Greenland’s fire and emergency medical services are provided entirely by trained volunteers.   We need volunteers.    We’re having a difficult time recruiting volunteers and are now accepting volunteers from abutting towns.

GVFD needs you to volunteer as a firefighter or EMT.  We’ll train you!  We are accepting volunteer applications from Greenland residents, those who are employed within Greenland and applications from residents of abutting towns.  Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.

The fire department  has been served by volunteers since it formed in the early the 1950’sBeing a member of the Greenland Volunteer Fire Department is an opportunity for you to learn new skills, get involved and give something back to your community.

Questions? Visit our Volunteer page, send an e-mail or join us at our monthly Business Meeting learn how you can get involved!
