GVFD Ladies Auxiliary
The Ladies Auxiliary has been providing assistance to the
Greenland Volunteer Fire Department since 1951. Through their 2007
fund raising efforts, complete sets of hand tools for each of our fire
apparatus have been purchased. The Ladies Auxiliary always welcomes
new members and invites Greenland residents to their monthly meeting.
This is a great way to assist the GVFD without having to respond to calls.

Mission Statement
It is the goal of the Greenland Volunteer Fire Department
Ladies Auxiliary to provide assistance to the Greenland Volunteer Fire
Department whenever possible. The Ladies Auxiliary conducts several
fundraisers throughout the year to benefit the GVFD, provides assistance at
GVFD open houses and provides support during calls that require the
volunteers to be on a scene for a long period of time.

Thank you to all of the bakers, buyers and staffers who
made the March fundraiser a huge success! We had such a great
response, we'll be asking for your help on future bake sales.

The Greenland Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary celebrated the
holiday season with their Christmas party on December 28 at the home of
Edith Lovering. A buffet luncheon was shared and gifts were exchanged. |
